Needed:
1 - Uncle Jay's seasoning package 1 - 5 Quart Pot (Cast iron preferred) for chili 1 - Pasta Pot (6 - 10 quarts) 1 - Lasagna Pan Tbs - Olive Oil 1/4Tsp - Red Pepper Sauce 1 Tbs - Cinnamon 2 Lbs - Burger (or any meat you prefer) 1 - Spanish Onion (Chopped) 1 - Green Pepper (Chopped) 2 - Stalks Celery (Chopped) 2 - Cans (28 oz each) Diced Tomatoes 1 - Can (29 oz) Tomato Sauce 1 - Package Sour Cream 1 - Large Package of Shredded Cheddar and Monery Jack Cheese 1 - Package Lasagna noodles 1/4 Cup - Salsa 1 - Cup of water
Sauté the onions, celery, and green peppers with olive oil, hot sauce and half of the seasoning package in the pot over high heat. Once they become tender add hamburger and remaining seasoning package plus cinnamon. Cooked until meat is browned. Add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes and water. Bring to a slow boil, stirring!!!!l Lower heat and simmer for 1 hour and 1/2 (90 minutes) uncovered.
Once this is none you can use to make the lasagna or serve it over pasta.
Pre-heat oven to 375*
Cook lasagna noodles as directed. Take your lasagna pan and cote the bottom with some of the chili. Lay out enough noodles to cover the bottom of pan. Once this is done cover these noodles with chili. Then put a bunch of dollops of sour cream over the noodles, then sprinkle with the shredded cheese. Start again with another layer of noodles and do the same process until you reach the top of the pan. On the last layer put a coting of chili, salsa and shredded cheese. Cover with tin foil and bake for 45 minutes. Then take off foil and bake for another 15 minute.
